El Barrio’s annual Old Timers’ Day block party on 111th Street between Madison and Lennox Avenues reuniting former and current residents of this East Harlem neighborhood, with stickball, food, T-shirt and craft vendors, also DJ and live Latin music with street dancing in the school yard. Highlights include old school style scooter and spinning top (trompo) with appearances by Efraim Ayala, Olga Ayala, Luis Cordero, Elena “Mamarazzi” Marrero, NYC Mayoral Candidate William C. Thompson, Willie Rosario, Felipe Luciano, Angel Diaz, David Ayala, Rey Pabon, Marta, Vinnie Dark, Brunilda Rivera and lots and lots of memories!
