The AMERICAN CARS, OLDTIMER (CLASSIC CARS) AND CONVENTION JUKEBOX in Kaunitz / Germany is one of the largest of its kind: It is all about the 50′ties, 60′ties and 70′ties: Cars, Fashion, Music, Lifestyle, Design. You get furniture, Assesoirs, and everything around this time. Many of the participants run around dressed accordingly. The main attractions are of course the cars and jukeboxes. Just a Convention right. Let the good Times roll!

Early in 2008, Vancouver patrol officers noticed there was an increase in seniors getting robbed in the Downtown Eastside. The suspects were drug addicts, preying on mostly elderly men for their wallets, cash or other valuables. Many of the victims walked with canes or walkers and were hard of hearing. Some of them suffered serious injuries, such as broken ribs and other fractures. Vancouver police officers went undercover as seniors, resulting in the arrest of 10 people.
